Xplan provides great access to a feature called Quicklinks, which provides short-cuts for Users to quickly access certain sections of Xplan. 

Quicklinks can be customised for each user, depending on what features of Xplan you regularly access. For example, if you find you spend a large amount of time in Tasks, then you want to ensure Tasks is one of your short-cuts.

Quicklinks are accessed from the Dashboard, and take you directly to the area that you select e.g. Tasks.

Your default Quicklinks will depend on what version of Xplan you are running. For example, from Version 2.12.4 the default Quicklinks are as below.

• Diary
• Task
• Thread
• Insurance Policy Search
• Loan Search
• Security Positions

Please note that these Quicklinks are dependent on your licenses and capabilities. For example, if you do not have the license and capability to view portfolio data, your default list of Quicklinks will not include Security Positions.

To customise your Quicklinks, select Quicklinks > Edit Quicklinks.

Then select an Option on the left-hand side menu e.g. Administration Functions, and then it will change the options available for you to select on the right-hand side. You can select the options, based on your personal preferences, then select Ok.
