Changing your clients Entity Status on Xplan.. A simple way to begin cleansing your client data.

Are you looking for another way to filter your Entity List when searching for clients in Xplan?

Many Xplan users are familiar with the Client Categories in Xplan but there are few that use the Entity Status.

The Entity Status field in Xplan allows you to allocate your entities as Clients, Archived, Group Plan Members, Prospects or Deceased. This makes for faster filtering of your Clients when performing a Search.

The Entity Status field is located at the top of the Search Filter when displaying the Client List. Tick the Entity Status checkboxes to select one or more status to use for filtering, then select Ok.

You can set up default selections for your Search Filter in your Preference menu.

- Go to Preferences in the top Right hand corner

- In the Navigation menu, select Client Focus > Options

- Scroll down to the Search Options and tick the Entity Status checkboxes you would like as your default. For example, you may like to choose Clients and Prospects as your default Search Filter.

As not every Xplan site is the same, the field to change a Client Entity Status is not always located in the same area. The most common areas to look for the Entity Status field are pages such as Personal Details, Marketing Details and Client Details.

If you cannot locate this area on your Xplan site, speak to your Xplan Site Administrator or Xplan Account Executive. This field may even be hidden on your site and your Site Administrator will need to add this.

If you would like more assistance with the above or do not have the time to cleanse your database, contact us on 0414 270 227 to find out how we can help.
